Another Horrific Poem~

Okayyyy so I typed this up a little while after watching "Grave of the Fireflies" and I thought it was somewhat decent XD So here:

Candy Tin

Sister
Sleeping there in our 'home'
You turn once
And again
Your pain is visible
Not just because you cannot move
Your bones
I see your bones when
I take you to the pond
And wash your body
Covered in Mosquito bites
If only that day
Were still today
I would still have you

Had I returned from shopping
Just a moment earlier
Taken away
The candy tin
Filled with your treasures
And fed you watermelon
Instead of going to make rice
If only I hadn't let you sleep
You would still be awake

Instead
The rice was made
You fell asleep
And never woke up
